Hi everyone. I'm Kelly, and I'm a student and full-time worker.
After deciding that I wanted to make a stand-out cake for my nephew's third birthday, I discovered that baking and decorating cakes are pretty great hobbies.
From a modest Thomas cake in 2010, to a disappointing Big Red Car in 2011, creating Jackson's cakes became a highlight of every April. In 2012, I made a Cars-inspired cake, that I was finally happy with, and it set everything else in motion.
Since last April, I've made quite a few cakes, and recently several people have suggested that I create a page to display the photographs. Here goes nothing!
So, the deal is: I am in no way a professional cake decorator! I have taken zero classes - I simply make it all up as I go along, and pick up suggestions and tips along the way.
I'm not a professional, but I do love putting my time and effort into creating something that puts a smile on someone's face, and that their belly and taste buds will enjoy as well. If you would like to take a chance on me, I would love to create a cake for any special event, and will happily negotiate every aspect with you.
All prices will be reasonable - just so long as I get enough money to cover the baking, icing and decorating ingredients, as well as a little extra for my time.
